What account do I need to use Braillito?
Braillito asks for an account so it can save your progress. There's no username or password to create: you sign in with the account you already have on your phone.
Which account do I sign in with?
- On iPhone: "Continue with Apple" or "Continue with Google".
- On Android: "Continue with Google".
Right now you can't sign in with an email and password, or use the app without an account.
Why does it need an account?
To save your lessons and progress, so you don't lose them if you delete the app or switch phones.
I got a new phone. Will I lose my progress?
No. Sign in with the same account you started with and your progress shows up on the new phone. If you're switching from iPhone to Android, or the other way around, use Google, because you can't sign in with Apple on Android.
Your subscription is separate: it's saved in your App Store or Google Play account. If it doesn't show up on the new phone, tap "Restore purchases" on the plans screen (how to restore a purchase).
How do I sign out or delete my account?
In the Settings tab, under Account, you'll find "Sign out" and "Delete account". Deleting your account erases all your data and can't be undone.
Important: deleting your account doesn't cancel your subscription, and the store will keep charging you. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play first.
