Braillito: where are the games?
Braillito doesn't have a separate games section: the games live inside the lessons. Each lesson is a series of short games and exercises for recognizing and writing Braille, and they work the same with VoiceOver or TalkBack.
Where are the games?
In the Lessons tab. Pick a lesson on the map and tap "START": the games come one after another inside the lesson. From Home, "Continue learning" takes you straight to the next one.
Do more games unlock over time?
No. There are no hidden games that unlock after a few days: what you see in the lessons is what there is. As you move through the course, lessons add new letters, numbers and symbols.
What's in the Tools tab?
Three tools for practicing outside the lessons:
- Dictionary: look up letters, numbers or symbols and see how they're written in Braille.
- Translator: type some text and it turns into Braille instantly.
- Builder: build words dot by dot and see which letter each cell makes.
Does it work with a screen reader?
Yes. Braillito is built for blind and low-vision learners and works with VoiceOver on iPhone and TalkBack on Android. More in Using Braillito with VoiceOver and TalkBack.
