Braillito: my progress isn't moving or I lost lessons
Your Braillito progress is saved to your account. If a lesson doesn't count, Home keeps showing the same one, or lessons you already did are missing, it's almost always one of these.
When does a lesson count as finished?
When you reach the screen at the end of the lesson. If you leave earlier, the app warns you: "If you leave now you'll lose your progress in this lesson". That progress isn't saved, and the lesson waits for you to start it again.
Why does Home keep showing the same lesson?
"Continue learning" on Home always opens the first lesson you haven't finished yet, in course order. If you used "SKIP AHEAD" in the Lessons tab to jump to a later lesson, Home will keep showing the one you skipped until you finish it.
To carry on from wherever you like, go to the Lessons tab and pick the lesson on the map.
I repeated a lesson and my progress didn't go up
That's expected. Finished lessons show "REVIEW": you can do them as many times as you want to practice, but each one counts once.
Lessons I'd already done are missing
- Sign in with the same account. Your progress is saved to the Apple or Google account you started with. If you sign in with a different one, you start from scratch. How to tell which account you used: What account do I need?.
- Check the app's language. Each language has its own letters, so the lesson list and the percentage change with the language. Your finished lessons are still saved: switch back to the language you used before and they're there. More in Languages.
- Update the app. Two bugs have been fixed: one removed lessons when you reopened the app, and the other left numbers lessons stuck at the end. If your version is old, update it from the App Store or Google Play.
I still can't move forward
